"To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye and the heart. It's a way of life."

~ Henri Cartier-Bresson

What we see is what we are. Photography has given me a better understanding of nature, a chance to meet new people, share their joy and to witness moment or two of their amazing stories. Looking through the little view finder of my camera, I see a colorful and beautiful world filled with emotions and life. It gives me the opportunity to look at the world in my own way and to showcase the same to the world. A story unfolds with every tiny detail in a photograph whether it is a portrait of an old man, with his wrinkles boasting of his vast experience in life; or a portrait of a laughing child which emotes a carefree mind and soul; or a tiny drop of water with light rays playing on it and turning it into a magical world of its own.

I am a man of medicine and for long it was my only steering force in life. My rendezvous with photography happened by chance and it started a magical journey and onset of a beautiful relationship, it also opened up whole new world for me with fresh perspective on nature, emotions and life. Since then I have explored everything that came my way, I did not put a ceiling on myself to any specific genre of photography.

I shoot what fascinates me at that given point in time. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and with thousand words, a poet can come up with a different poem each time and the words would give different interpretation. Same way, like a curious poet, I love to explore new views of familiar scenes. Over the years, my hobby transcended into passion and finally it has become a very serious interest. Appreciation of my work has come through publication of photographs and demand from various websites, family and friends which are catalyst in my pursuit for excellence. I am a self taught photographer who has learnt the art of photography through experimentation. I love creative photography with new concepts. I know there is still a long way to go but for now, I treasure the time I can just be out there waiting for another special moment to come by. I'm still finding my space but enjoying the journey, and that's what counts at the end. I have had the chance to take part in several photography exhibitions and have sold images to gettyimages.com, camerocks.com etc.
